Privacy

This is the personal website of David Uhlmann. It is a static website: it has no user accounts, no forms, no comments and no newsletter, and it does not set any cookies.

Who is responsible

David Uhlmann, Eindhoven, the Netherlands, is responsible for this website. For questions about privacy you can reach me via LinkedIn.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you visit a page, your browser necessarily sends technical data such as your IP address, the requested page, the time of the request and your browser's user agent. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Statistics

This website currently does not use any analytics or tracking.

Fonts and external content

All fonts and images are served from this website itself; no requests are made to Google Fonts or other third parties when you load a page. Links to LinkedIn and other websites only send data to those websites if you click them, and their own privacy policies apply there.

ADD check: Cloud AI

By default the ADD check uses Cloud AI, and only after you agree in the model dialog. Text excerpts from your document (not the file itself) are then sent over HTTPS to this website's server and processed by Cloudflare Workers AI to produce the scores. This website does not store or log document text, prompts or answers. To prevent abuse, Cloudflare Turnstile first checks that the request comes from a browser, and a keyed hash of your IP address is kept for the current day to limit the number of checks; it is deleted the next day. The legal basis is your consent in the model dialog (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can choose a local model that runs on your device instead at any time; then no document text leaves your device. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare processes this data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
